El citado monumento al tamborilero ser\u00e1 ejecutado en hierro\u2026El autor de esta obra ser\u00e1 el hellinero Francisco Ruiz Oliva\u2026El lugar proyectado para su emplazamiento ser\u00eda la entrada al recinto del Jard\u00edn Mart\u00ednez Parras\u2026\u201d\u00a0 La respuesta del Ayuntamiento fue aprobar para aquel a\u00f1o una ayuda que equival\u00eda al 2% del coste fijado en 150.000 pesetas.<\/p><p>Desde entonces este lugar es llamado Jard\u00edn del Tamborilero, pero oficialmente sigue recordando a quien fue alcalde en la d\u00e9cada de 1920, como se decidi\u00f3 tras ser reformado en 1956.
