El Saladar de Cordovilla, junto al de Agram\u00f3n, es especialmente interesante por su gran extensi\u00f3n, casi 300 hect\u00e1reas protegidas, por su excelente grado de conservaci\u00f3n y por su riqueza flor\u00edstica. Junto a especies comunes en otros saladares interiores, alejados de la costa, se encuentra el heliantemo de Cordovilla (Helianthemum polygonoides), catalogado \u201cen peligro de extinci\u00f3n\u201d y que es un endemismo (s\u00f3lo existe aqu\u00ed).
